Access rule for Kids' Kingdom
From Monday 11 November 2024, it will no longer be necessary to book a time slot for the Kids' Kingdom. Admission is still limited.
The Kids' Kingdom will be open to visitors from 9 to 16.30. This means that from Monday 11 November it will no longer be necessary to book time slot tickets. The number of people who can be in the Kids' Kingdom at the same time will still be limited. We will show on a screen in the Kids' Kingdom if there is still space or if you will have to wait for visitors to leave the Kinderreich.
There is also a new admission restriction for adults from 11 November
Dear parents, grandparents and accompanying persons: If you are visiting the Kinderreich with one or two children, a maximum of two accompanying adults is permitted.
Who is the Kids' Kingdom for?
- Adults are only admitted to the Kids Kingdom if accompanied by children and at least one child is between 3 and 8 years old.
- Groups of 10 people or more must book their visit by telephone
How the visit will run from 11 November 2024
- Buy museum admission online or at the ticket office on site
- There is a screen at the entrance to the Kinderreich indicating whether access is possible.
- If you have to wait, we recommend our website "For families and children" with lots of tips for your visit.
Tips for visiting with children aged three to eight
- With "Bunte Tour", adults and children can discover hands-on stations together and get to the bottom of things. The "Bunte Tour" are leaflets that are available in the Children's Kingdom or can be downloaded from the "Bunte Tour" website.
- Our new exhibition guide "Komm mit ins Deutsche Museum" (in German) explains selected objects in all exhibitions in a child-friendly way.
