More than just an exhibition centre: the Deutsches Museum does not only comprise to the exhibition venues, but also a library, an archive, a publishing house, its own workshops, the research institute, the Kerschensteiner Kolleg and, last but not least, the huge and valuable collection.

From the Lilienthal glider to the Eurofighter, from flying boats to rockets: at Flugwerft Schleißheim, visitors can trace the eventful history of aviation – with more than 70 flying objects on display. We group individual aircraft in the exhibitions around. There may be some disruption until end of the year. We look forward to welcoming you!

Experience, understand, shape - that is the "Mission AI" of the Deutsches Museum Bonn. Immerse yourself in the world of artificial intelligence!
On mornings from Tuesdays to Fridays, the museum is popular with school groups. If you would like to experience "Mission AI" in peace and quiet, it is preferable to use the afternoon.

Maintenance days in the exhibitions

Between now and Easter 2025, each of the exhibitions on the Museumsinsel will be closed to visitors for about a week, one after the other.
