The group of Friends and Sponsors of the Deutsches Museum, the "Freundes- und Förderkreis Deutsches Museum e.V.", brings together people who care about the social debate on technology and science, who appreciate the Deutsches Museum and regularly visit the exhibitions and events. The Friends and Sponsors have been supporting all locations and areas of the Deutsches Museum for more than 20 years.

More than just an annual ticket

There are many advantages: One ticket to five museums. No waiting at the ticket offices. Entrance to the exhibitions at any time. The opportunity for special guided tours and events. A look behind the scenes. And receiving the museum's magazine, the "Kultur und Technik". Our more than 15,000 members support the museum at all its locations with their annual subscription and donations.

Voluntary social year

Young commitment to culture and education

Every year, up to five young adults can complete their voluntary service at the Deutsches Museum in the Education Department. Right from the start, they are involved in the department's tasks and gain an insight into the workings of the Deutsches Museum. A project of their own - supervised but designed and realised self-responsibly - forms the core of the voluntary service.
