“Delta Lima Zero Delta Mike calling …” – the call sign of the Amateur Radio Station DLØDM at the Deutsches Museum has been echoing through the airways since 1989. In the centre of the station, you can watch radio amateurs during their live broadcasts. Exhibits from the history of radio and its technology include spark-gap transmitters for a radio designed for space!
Amateur Radio is an experimental radio service and began operating at the Deutsches Museum back in 1938.
