In the overview tour of Hall II, we invite you to explore the different conditions and experiences of travel since antiquity. The technical achievements of the past 200 years have fundamentally changed travel: more and more people were able to travel, and they reached their destinations faster and faster.

When the large wheels of the S3/6 express locomotive start moving, or when you take a seat in our carriage simulator, you can experience for yourself what travel felt like in earlier times.
