The S 3/6, pronounced "S Drei Sechstel," from 1912 is a masterpiece of express steam locomotives from the era of the Bavarian State Railways. With its four-cylinder compound engine, the locomotive could reach speeds of up to 120 km/h. Our S 3/6 "3634," later "18 451," is the last surviving example with extra-large driving wheels, each two meters in diameter. Join us as the wheels and engine are set in motion several times a day and experience the impressive locomotive in operation.
